U.S. News Best High School

Kaukauna High School is proud to be recognized in the 2025–2026 U.S. News Best High Schools rankings. This recognition reflects the high levels of learning happening in our classrooms and the many ways students and staff work together to support strong outcomes.

U.S. News reports that it ranked nearly 18,000 public high schools out of more than 24,000 reviewed by combining weighted results across six measures into an overall score that reflects how a school performs compared with other ranked schools nationwide. Those measures look at student outcomes and opportunities, including state assessment results in math, reading, and science, graduation rates, college readiness connected to participation and performance on AP and IB exams, the breadth of advanced coursework, and how well schools are serving underserved students. U.S. News also reports it does not collect information directly from schools and instead relies on third party sources such as federal and state education data and exam reporting organizations, with methodology developed in coordination with RTI International.
